Six (6) Various Vintage Golf Themed Sterling Silver Spoons

A collection of sterling silver souvenir and trophy spoons featuring various golfing motifs and commemorative inscriptions. The pieces are constructed from sterling silver as indicated by the British lion passant hallmarks. Decorative elements include engraved club initials, crossed golf clubs, and figurative handles. One spoon features an openwork handle, while another depicts a cast figure entwined with a serpent. Inscriptions include S.G.G.C. with crossed clubs, F.H.G.C., S.C. DECEMBER 1937, and B.G.C. 1908. One bowl is engraved with the crest for the Eastbourne Golf Club, and another is inscribed G.C. 1ST CLASS BOGEY JULY 1924. The reverse of the spoons bear Birmingham anchor marks and maker marks for W. H. Darby and Sons, Vaughton and Sons, Atkin Brothers, William Hair Haseler, and Deakin and Francis. Date letters present correspond to the years 1908, 1915, 1923, 1933, and 1935.
The items exhibit tarnish and minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
