This collection consists of several golf-themed souvenir and trophy spoons, primarily of British origin, featuring enameled finials and decorative motifs. The group includes examples representing the Herefordshire Golf Club, Heidelberg Golf Club, Davenport Golf Club, Little Aston Golf Club, and Llandrindod Golf Club. One spoon features a bowl with the hand-engraved inscription MARCH 1924. Decorative elements include crossed clubs on a blue enameled shield and a circular medallion depicting a golfer in mid-swing. The spoons are constructed with various stem designs, including twisted and foliate patterns. Markings on the reverse of the items identify several pieces as sterling silver, including marks for Vaughton and Sons (V & S) and William Hair Haseler Ltd. (W H & S L D), both accompanied by the lion passant and anchor hallmarks for Birmingham. Other examples in the collection are marked STERLING or bear the marks SPECIALMENT and EPNS, indicating electroplated nickel silver construction.
The collection shows overall surface tarnishing and light wear consistent with age and use. The enamel on the finials appears largely intact with only minor surface abrasions.
