Seven (7) Various Vintage Golf Themed Sterling Silver Spoons
This collection consists of seven sterling silver spoons featuring various golf-related motifs and commemorative engravings. The group includes a variety of decorative finials, such as a three-dimensional standing golfer, a golfer with a caddy, and crossed golf clubs with golf balls. One spoon features a gold-washed vermeil finish within the bowl. Specific markings include a trophy spoon engraved Eastward-Ho Links Easter 1922 Bogey with registration number RD 592486, and a souvenir spoon for Colwyn Bay Golf Club with the maker mark B H & G for Barker Brothers. Another spoon is engraved W.A.D.E. June 1914 and bears Birmingham hallmarks including the lion passant, anchor, and date letter n for 1912, with the maker mark J.R. One bowl is engraved with the name Nellie and marked STERLING on the reverse. Additional pieces include labeling NCGC bearing Birmingham hallmarks and the mark STG SILVER. The spoons show a natural aged patina and varying degrees of tarnish consistent with age. No significant dents, repairs, or structural damage are observed. 128 grams in weight.
