Seve Ballesteros Signed 1999 Masters Embroidered Flag
To best speak on the scarcity of single-signed Seve Ballesteros Masters flags, a quick comb through The Golf Auction's 14 years of offerings there has been only 3 other examples. With his quick signature and low pen pressure, only two of those came close to the strength of this full-name centrally located scribe. Ballesteros played with flair, successfully. The 1980 and 1983 Masters Tournament champion was a charismatic figure, commanding attention without soliciting it. A European Ryder Cup hero, his following rivaled Arnie's Army in number and passion. Seve carefully applied his full fine point marker signature center cut inside the 1999 (inaugural dated flag) logo. Demand for this flag has built up for collectors, with this example one of the select few and highest grade out there.
