Seth Raynor’s Westhampton Country Club 1914 Duffers Trophy
Believed to be Seth Raynor’s first solo design, Westhampton Country Club was established in 1914 on Long Island in New York. Presented here is a golf trophy from this club awarded during the first year of inception on September 7, 1914 to Dr. Maddren for the annual Duffer’s event. This trophy is spectacular, appearing to be made of a bronze or copper material with the Westhampton Flag Logo thereon with nice detailing throughout. Made by the John Frick Jewelry Company of New York, known for their fine jewelry and awards of that day. This is one special piece. 8 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 7"
