Set of Four Vintage Ping Karsten PAL and O-BLADE Golf Putters
This lot consists of a set of four vintage golf putters manufactured by Karsten Manufacturing Corporation (Ping) in Phoenix, Arizona. The collection features two PAL blade-style models and two O-BLADE blade-style models. All clubheads are constructed of a bronze alloy with a deep natural oxidation patina. The two O-BLADE putters both carry U.S. PAT. NO. 213609 and the Phoenix, Arizona 85029 zip code; one variant displays the Made in U.S.A. mark on the left heel, while the other features it on the right toe. The two PAL putters are marked with the Phoenix 85020 zip code and Box 9006 address, with one model specifically identified by U.S. PAT. 4,527,799. All four putters retain their original stepped steel shafts and vintage black rubber PING grips. Three grips are molded with the Ping Man logo, while one is marked PRO ONLY.
