Seldom Seen Army & Navy No. 1 CSL Golf Ball - Excellent Condition
The Army & Navy Co-Operative Society Limited was a department store chain in the UK founded in 1871 by Navy and Army officers. Offered here is an Army & Navy CSL brand golf ball that is a challenge to be found in any condition, often subject to cracking from the use of niblicks and other iron-headed clubs. This ball will display very nicely with its featured hexagonal imprint pattern.This exact ball is pictured on plate XXI of The Story of the Golf Ball (2003) by Kevin McGimpsey. The ball remains in near mint condition, and retains a remarkable 99%+ of its paint.
