Ryder Cup The K Club Commemorative Gold Bullion Blazer Crest
This commemorative bullion blazer crest was produced for the Ryder Cup held at The K Club in Straffan, Ireland. The circular patch is constructed on a dark navy blue felt base and features intricate hand-sewn gold metallic wire embroidery. The central motif depicts the Ryder Cup trophy in raised gold bullion, flanked by the embroidered flags of the European Union on the left and the United States on the right. Arched across the top is the text RYDER CUP in heavy gold bullion. At the base of the trophy, a white embroidered ribbon banner contains the text THE K CLUB in black thread. The patch is finished with a decorative border of double-row twisted gold metallic wire. The reverse of the patch is finished with a black fabric backing and features handwritten characters in white ink that appear as TW-01.
