Robert T Jones Signed First Edition 1931 'The Boys' Life of Bobby Jones' by O.B. Keeler Book
Fully intact, excellent condition first edition of O.B. Keeler's 1931 book 'The Boys' Life of Bobby Jones has been graced with a full Robert T. Jones Jr. signature ("9" signature strength). The famed author Oscar Bane Keeler was raised in Georgia and witnessed Bobby Jones' first tournament win at age 14. From then on, Keeler attended every match Jones played, including the 7 Major wins and the 1930 Grand Slam season. The pair traveled over 200,000 miles together, Keeler not only writing about Jones but also acting as his press agent and friend and confidant. Keeler wrote quite a few books with Bobby Jones as the subject, this being one of the most popular. This biography chronicles Jones' life through his incredible Grand Slam year of 1930.James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their paperwork of authenticity will come with this lot.

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, May 19th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
