Ray Floyd Signed 1969 PGA Championship Photograph, Commemorative Parker Yardage Pen, and Vintage Signature Golf Balls
This sports memorabilia lot highlights the career of PGA Hall of Fame golfer Raymond Floyd, with items specifically commemorating his first major victory at the 1969 PGA Championship. The first component is a black-and-white 8 by 10 inch promotional photograph of Floyd mid-swing, hand-signed in blue felt-tip marker with the signature Ray Floyd in the lower-left section. The second component is a vintage Parker Jotter mechanical yardage pen. The white plastic barrel is printed in black with the text 51st PGA Championship, NCR South Course, Dayton, Ohio, 1969, accompanied by the NCR logo and an event crest. The barrel features a transparent window that displays hole, yardage, and par (H. Y. P.) data for the NCR South Course. The brushed metal cap is engraved with PARKER beneath the arrow clip, and the reverse is stamped with the Parker halo-and-arrow symbol and MADE IN U.S.A. The third component is a collection of vintage white dimpled golf balls featuring Raymond Floyd branding. One side of each ball is printed in black cursive script with Ray Floyd over a red number 2 or 3. The reverse sides are marked Signature or Tournament over corresponding red numbers.
