Pebble Beach Golf Links Sheffield English Pewter Commemorative Hip Flask
This commemorative hip flask is attributed to Sheffield, England, based on market consensus for this specific design and material. The vessel is constructed from pewter with a curved rectangular body and a screw-top cap featuring decorative ribbing. The front of the flask displays an etched map of the Pebble Beach Golf Links along the Monterey Peninsula coastline, topped with a banner reading PEBBLE BEACH. Inscribed text provides a brief history, stating the course was built in 1919 and hosted its first U.S. Open in 1972, won by Jack Nicklaus. The reverse side features a Card of the Championship Course, which provides a detailed scorecard including hole numbers, yardages, and par for all 18 holes, as well as out, in, and total scores.
