Payne Stewart's Personal Unopened Bottle of Suntory Whisky - Bought For Personal Collection
The Suntory Whisky Imperial is believed to be a blend from the 1960s, with quality befitting that only of the royal family. It comes in a beautiful Kagami Crystal Decanter, and production stopped at the turn of the millennium. It often advertised as "suitable enough for an emperor". It is said to contain malts mainly from the Yamazaki distillery of Suntory and is a fantastic blend with a lot of history.
As you can see from the photos the label on the top of the bottle has a small perforation in the label. This bottle was bought for Payne's personal collection and never opened. A great whiskey with great history to add to your collection.
