The challenge of finding autographed clubs is always going to be easy to understand, who is going to carry these items around a golf course at an event to get them signed or in the other case who is going to undertake wrapping them up and sending a club to a player much less the player unpacking and packing the club to send it back to a fan. This makes this offering especially pleasing from Payne, who was easily one of the most popular PGA players of the 1990's, but not the best on unique collectibles outside of the common pairing sheet or tournament multi signed flag. His two United States Open triumphs (1991,1999) put an exclamation point on his Hall of Fame career. Stewart has placed a large signature, smack in the center of this Ping Zing 36" inch putter on the face of the club. This will always be a challenging signed putter head for the collector putting together a run of Major champions. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph by Payne, and their letter of authenticity #Z7319 (see picture of cert) will come with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
