Payne Stewart Signed 1991 US Open at Hazeltine Flag
The late, great Payne Stewart's large, black flowing penmanship is found in close proximity of his victorious 1991 US Open tournament logo on this highly desired flag. The 1991 U.S. Open was the 91st U.S. Open, held June 13–17 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, a suburb southwest of Minneapolis. Payne Stewart defeated 1987 champion Scott Simpson in an 18-hole Monday playoff to win the first of his two U.S. Open titles. This flag is in very good condition itself, from the white fabric holding the grommets on the left side, throughout the yellow screen printed prize. Midwesterner, Springfield, Missouri native Payne Stewart outlasted 1987 US champion Scott Simpson in an 18-hole Monday playoff in the Minneapolis suburb for his second major in the region (first outside of Chicago at Kemper Lakes) and first of his two U.S. Open titles. His playoff round of 75 would be two lower than Simpson's. A triumphant fist pump from Stewart donning a red and white striped NFL Super Bowl shirt and one 'FORE' cleat off of the ground remains the memorable still from the tournament. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
