The honor of captaining the US Team was bestowed upon these deserving golf luminaries, each of whom represented the team as a player prior. Containing the penmanship of 15 former US Ryder Cup Captains, including Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, is this 'UNITED STATES RYDER CUP TEAM CAPTAINS' print which was produced in limited quantities by the PGA. Exhibiting excellent visual appeal, each signature is located just below the captain's image. Joining Palmer and Nicklaus, signers include Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Billy Casper, Ray Floyd, Jack Burke, Dow Finsterwald, Dave Stockton, Ben Crenshaw, Curtis Strange, Lanny Wadkins, Hal Sutton, Tom Kite, Tom Lehman and Paul Azinger. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed these signatures and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot. Item is professionally framed by and produced by The Professional Golfers Association of America. The print commemorates United States Ryder Cup history and features 23 photographic portraits of captains from Walter Hagen through Paul Azinger. The central background displays a graphic of the Ryder Cup trophy draped with an American flag and the PGA logo. Each portrait is captioned with the captain's name and the years of their captaincy. A brass-tone plaque is mounted on the top center of the frame, inscribed: Jim Remy / United States Ryder Cup Captains / 2007 Limited Edition Signature Print.
