Palmer, Nicklaus & Player 'Big 3' Signed 2003 Masters Embroidered Flag

Celebrate the gentlemen that transitioned from foes to life-long friends, developing larger-than-life monikers along the way: The King, The Golden Bear, and The Black Knight. Three flawless black sharpie signatures are found side-by-side with ideal positioning in the center of this Masters embroidered flag, fittingly in a similar way to how the gentlemen were themselves often during their careers. Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player were well established as golf's "Big Three," dominating The Masters Tournament and professional golf in the 1960's. They are credited with popularizing and commercializing the sport during the television age of golf. The three have a remarkable combined 13 Masters victories and 34 major championships, with Jack's 18 still sitting securely atop the golf world. Player's nine Majors are tied for fourth all-time alongside Palmer's seven major championships. The Big Three were honorary starters at The Masters after their playing days, kicking off the tournament with the ceremonial drives on the first hole. This 2003 flag, however, represented the second to last edition in which each was a contestant. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET

Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
