Palmer, Nicklaus & Player 'Big 3' Center Signed 2014 Masters Champions Dinner Flag w/31
When it comes to signed Masters Champs flags, many passionate collectors have made note of the impressive quality, location and presentation of signatures from the former champions when signed for their cohorts at the annual Masters Champions Dinner. The brotherhood is small and elite, as those sitting side by side at the oblong table have a large amount of mutual respect for one another that represent different decades and even generations. Charles Coody used this dated Masters flag during the 2014 Champs Dinner as a vehicle for signatures of the greats that were in attendance for that day, each presented in uniform black sharpie.
The remarkable 31 total signatures is highlighted of course by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, the 'Big 3,' carefully added their signatures in the center logo. Additional dinner guests and past champions include: Billy Casper, Angel Cabrera, Ben Crenshaw, Doug Ford, Bob Goalby, Sandy Lyle, Zach Johnson, Fuzzy Zoeller (in black), Trevor Immelman, Ray Floyd, Craig Stadler, Tommy Aaron, Mark O' Meara, Charles Schwartzel, Bubba Watson, Adam Scott (Host) and Charles Coody was gracious enough to sign it himself. Augusta National Golf Club and Masters Chairman Billy Payne proudly signed it on the top, among the champions. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot. A signed letter of provenance from Charles Coody will come with this lot.
