PGA of America. The History of the PGA Championship, Volume 2: The Beginning. Limited Edition.
This commemorative set is presented in a large, green book-shaped storage case titled The History of the PGA Championship, designated as Volume 2 with the subtitle The Beginning. The case is constructed of green leatherette-covered boards featuring gold gilt lettering and decorative corner scrolls on the front and spine. The spine displays the text THE BEGINNING Presented by The PGA of America, The History of the PGA Championship, and the Professional Golfers Association of America logo above the designation VOLUME 2. The interior features a green felt-lined tray containing a set of clear, square-based whiskey glasses. Each glass is etched with the PGA logo, the words LIMITED EDITION, and a portrait and name of a prominent figure in the history of the sport: Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Rodman Wanamaker, and Bobby Jones. The set includes a printed informational sheet providing biographical sketches of these four figures under the headings The Beginning, The Ultimate Amateur, The Haig, and The Squire. The presentation case is designed to shelf-match other volumes in the series.

Each lot will get its own 30 minute clock, which will extend by 30 minutes any time that lot receives a bid during extended bidding.
