Considered by many to the greatest female athlete of the early 20th century, Babe won a two gold medals at the 1932 Summer Olympic Games and became a 10x Major golf Champion, including 3 U.S. Open Championships, after her storied amateur sports career. She passed far too young at the age of 45 in 1956. Artist Robert Fletcher depicted Babe in her post-swing follow-through positioning, studying her shot prior to it coming to a rest. From the highlight on the top of her left shoe to shading on her face opposite the light source.

Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in the recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result. A signed certificate of authenticity by artist Robert Fletcher comes with this lot. 9" x 18"

Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm EDT
