Original Ben Hogan Oil Painting by Artist Arthur Sarnoff - Framed
This original oil painting by artist Arthur Sarnoff exhibits outstanding both color appropriately titled 'Follow the Ball,' with the Ben Hogan in his white 'Tam O' Shanter' hat and a row of patrons looking on. The highly effective vantage point Sarnoff painted from for this composition enhances the original oil painting's appeal highlighting both Hogan and the invested gallery. Sarnoff's work has appeared in a variety of advertising campaigns for companies such as Lucky Strike, Listerine, Coors, and Vick's Vapo Rub. In addition to work for corporate America, Arthur Sarnoff painted portraits of legendary President John F. Kennedy and legendary entertainer Bob Hope. His painting of dogs playing pool would become the most well known however, 'Jack the Ripper.' A wide range of darks and lights while recognizing the direction of light source and crossing diagonals formed by the tree line and leaning spectators made this oil painting hard to look away from. Arthur Sarnoff added his red paint signature in the bottom right corner. 20" x 24"
