Original Bobby Jones Oil Painting 'Bobby at East Lake' by Artist Robert Fletcher - Framed
This exquisite depiction of Augusta National and The Masters Co-Founder Bobby Jones at his home East Lake Golf Club was brushed by highly acclaimed artist Robert Fletcher. With a driver in hand, Jones was created on linen canvas in his patented post-swing pose preceding a pond winding horizontally through the composition's equator. Additionally, incorporating crossing diagonals that allow the viewers eye to travel from one side of the piece to the other. A soft canary yellow is the chosen hue for both Bobby Jones' sweater top and long socks, offset by browns to not take away from his face or overall appearance. .
Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in the recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. His most recent success was work that was used as a tribute to the course architect team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw at the Colorado Golf Club. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result.
