Nancy Lopez, Jan Stephenson & 50+ LPGA Stars Signed The Legends at French Lick Resort Wood Sign
Women's golf would return to French Lick Resort after over 50 years in 2013 welcoming the Legends Tour Championship. For four years the 45 and older LPGA tour pro's tested the Pete Dye Course in Indiana producing winners Lorie Kane-2013, Laurie Rinker-2014, World Golf Hall of Famer Juli Inkster-2015, and Trish Johnson-2016. This sturdy, impressive four panel wooden c.2014 sign celebrated the tournament and was inked in uniform black sharpie by more than 50 golfers in the field. 48-time LPGA winner Nancy Lopez with the '2014' dating inscription was joined in penmanship by WGHOF Jan Stephenson, Sally Little, WGHOF JoAnne Carner, Christa Johnson, Cindy Rarick, and more than 40 more LPGA stars and major winners added their black sharpie stamp of approval to this 'The Legends Championship French Lick Resort Golf' sizeable 14" x 36" wooden sign adorned with a lady golfer illustration donning early 20th century attire. The backside has 'Nancy Lopez' written in black marker on it. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
