NFL HoF Lee Roy Selmon Personal Match Used Golf Bag w/Top-Flite Tour Irons, Woods & Putter w/Headcovers
During the middle years of the 2000's The Babe and George Zaharias Foundation was involved with The Children's Home of Tampa, FL, which promoted a golf tournament each year at Avila Golf and C.C. to raise funds for their charitable organization. NFL Hall of Famer, first overall pick and 6x pro-bowler of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mr. Lee Roy Selmon, attended many of these events representing the Univ. of South Florida as the "Athletic Director". He was the guest speaker and also played in several tournaments. It was after one of these annual golf outings that he approached our Foundation's table and donated his old set of clubs. He was delighted to do so, due to the fact a close friend surprised him with a new complete set of Callaway Clubs and bag, for his birthday. Selmon, who passed away in 2011, was one of the nicest men consignor Hal Shaw ever met.
