Ltd. Edition 175/2500 Ben Hogan 1953 Commemorative Grand Slam White Golf Bag
Presented here is a Ben Hogan full-size golf bag. This is a limited edition commemorative piece celebrating the historic 1953 season of golf legend Ben Hogan. The design features three large white panels, each dedicated to one of Hogan's major championship victories in 1953: The Masters (April 1953, Augusta, Georgia), the U.S. Open (June 1953, Oakmont, Pennsylvania), and the British Open (July 1953, Carnoustie, Scotland). One panel features a facsimile signature of Ben Hogan and one has the illustrator facsimile signature. The base ring is embossed with gold-tone lettering reading 1953: THE HOGAN YEAR. A small metal plaque at the base identifies the bag as number 175 of a limited edition of 2,500. The bag includes multiple zippered pockets and a reinforced carrying handle. The bag is in excellent unused condition and does demonstrate minor aging wear.
