Lot of Two Money Clips - Cleveland Open Money Clip and 1963 Sahara Inv Money Clip
This lot contains two of Jack Flecks PGA contestants money clips. The first is from the Cleveland Open which has a diameter of 1 1/4" with a 1" clasp extension. This has the design work from the 60's, and well be from the first event which was held in 1963 and won by Arnold Palmer. The Cleveland Open a PGA Tour stop until 1972, but that was long after Fleck had played regularly on the Tour. The second item in this lot is Jack Fleck's 1963 Sahara Invitational contestants money clip which has a 1 1/2" diameter with 1" clasp extension. This one we know for sure is '63 as it clearly stamped with the date on its facing side. This makes it a treasured clip to own with Jack Nicklaus winning for his 8th career win on the PGA Tour.
