In following with the tradition of awarding clocks to their amateur award winners the Los Angeles Open, in 1950 the 24th edition of the PGA's stop in Tinsel Town, awarded the Lawson Electric Clock offered in this lot. It was Stranahan's award for finishing second among amateur competitors it engravings outline Frank's accomplishment:
