1945 Eastern Flying Training Command Tournament Championship Trophy
Frank Stranahan's figural golfer trophy (sans club) stands 14" tall with a 4" diameter base. Flight officer Stranahan of Toledo and Birmingham Field, Florida captured this trophy for winning the second annual golf tournament of the Eastern Flying Training Command, Army Air Forces, firing a six-under-par 66 in the final round. He had a winning total 207 for the 54-hole event which was seven strokes better then his closest rival.
