2003 Phantom Ryder Cup Money Clip
It is common to see in auction lots the phrase 'You will not see again'. With this 2003 Ryder Cup Money Clip chances are highly unlikely you will ever see another again. Produced as a test run for our consignor,a ranking Michigan PGA official, prior to the scheduled 2003 Ryder Cup Matches at Oakland Hills. These plans were permanently altered by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. This pushed the 34th Ryder Cup scheduled for later that month back to 2002, and it was decided to play the matches from then on in even numbered years. Moving the scheduled 35th Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills from 2003 to 2004. That made this the 2003-35th Ryder Cup money clip an extremely scarce item when existing inventory was destroyed.
