Prognosticating newly crowned 'Champion Golfer of the Year' Collin Morikawa's career achievements this early is merely a way of discussing the small sample size of greatness we have seen thus far. Metrics are certainly in the twenty-four year old's favor, with a pair of first start - first win in major championships. This feat has never been accomplished in the game of golf, one in which gives the nod to experience and mental strength. The affable 'other' Golden Bear from California Berkley is well on his way to becoming the next great legendary golfer, wining two majors in only eight starts. Morikawa shot a 66 on the final day Sunday at Royal St George's while not carding a single bogey and holding off the resurgence of Jordan Spieth.
