International Ryder Cup Matches at The Greenbrier Plate
In West Virginia, USA Captain Billy Casper was able to lead his Team USA to victory with a finally tally of 17 points, to Europe's 11. This was the first time that players from continental Europe were able to participate in the matches. Seve Ballesteros and company replaced Great Britain and Ireland as USA's foes. This plate commemorates those matches with script lettering, gold trim and of course the flags of the teams in competition. 10 1/4" diameter
