1987 US Senior Open Championship Contestant Pin - Jack Fleck

This 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" contestants pin which belonged to Jack Fleck carries the same traditional design which the United States Golf Association began employing for its Championships beginning with the 1960 Mens U.S. Open. The U.S. Senior Open which was first contested in 1980 is recognized as a major by both the Champions Tour and the European Seniors Tour. Gary Player would conquer the Brooklawn C.C. in Fairfield, Connecticut for his first of back-to-back U.S.G.A Senior Open Championships. This example bears the name of 1955 U.S. Open champion Jack Fleck who competed in the event.
