Fred Couples Signed The President's Cup Embroidered Flag
2005 President's Cup captained by Jack Nicklaus won 18 1/2 to 15 1/2 over the International team at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, host of the 2000 President's Cup that saw a USA victory under Ken Venturi's watchful eye. This yellow embroidered 2005 President's Cup flag is signed by US Team member Fred Couples. Couples contributed 1.5 points to the win, with his full point coming during his singles match 1 up over Vijay Singh. Fred Couples left his name here in black sharpie. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot
