Steve Jones Signed 1996 US Open at Oakland Hills Ticket #P00418 PSA #27157582

The 1996 champion Steve Jones signed this ticket from Oakland Hills. Steve Jones in his career defining moment posted a record setting four round score of 278 to claim a one stroke win over top PGA rivals Tom Lehman and Davis Love in the 1996 U.S. Open Championship. What made this performance even more outstanding was that it occurred over the tight and long Oakland Hills fairways one of the most feared courses in the world, one that Ben Hogan dubbed "the Monster". The score of 278 at Oakland Hills was a record low for the eight U.S.G.A. men's professional championship events contested there (six U.S. Opens and two U.S. Senior Opens).PSA has authenticated and encapsulated this piece to ensure ideal presentation and preservation.
