"Slammin Sam" Sam Snead won 7 Major Tournaments, including 3 Masters in 1949, 1952, and 1954; the British Open in 1946; and PGA Championships in 1942, 1949, and 1951.  He had 82 tour victories, with an estimated 160 professional victories in all. Sports Illustrated Magazine dated June 11, 1956 with "Slamming Sam"signature on the cover. This autographed lot comes with an auction Certificate of Authenticity from Jimmy Spence Authentication. JSA has evaluated this signature and has found it to be authentic.
