John Ball won his incredible 8th (British) Amateur Championship in June of 1912. He defeated fellow Englishman Abe Mitchell after 38 holes. Here is a group photo of the gentlemen from the tournament's field. On board is this 1912 Amateur Golf Championship Souvenir Matted Oversize Photo In Front of Golden Bay Hotel, Westward Ho. Taken in front of the Golden Bay Hotel, Westward Ho in vg condition. "Puddicombe, Strand, Bideford," is stamped in the bottom right corner.
