Gary Player Signed 1999 Masters Embroidered Flag with Years Won
The Black Knight signed the center of this 1999 Masters Embroidered flag in black sharpie, with each of his three tournament victories listed below. The champion from South Africa won 163 tournaments worldwide, including his three Masters Tournaments in 1961-1974-1978. Player's 1961 win was the first of an international golfer, paving the way for many victorious international golfers after. 1999 represented the first year that offered dated, embroidered Masters flags to the patrons, a tradition that is a very popular one 22 years later. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
