1947 US Open At St. Louis CC Series Ticket - Lew Worsham Playoff Win over Snead
Lew Worsham was the champion of the 1947 U.S. Open played at the St. Louis Country Club. His playoff victory over Sam Snead was most likely the most disappointing of Snead's long run of sorrows at his country's Open Championships. Offered here is a series ticket from that tournament that presents in good to very good condition, with very few blemishes. Among the tough 1940's U.S. Open tickets the 1947 remains one of the most challenging to locate. This example is in improvable condition, as detailed in the accompanying lot photos.
