Tony Jacklin Signed 1969 The OPEN Claret Jug Photo Matted Display
Tony Jacklin was the most successful British player of his generation, winning two major championships. He was also the most successful European Ryder Cup captain ever. In 1969, Jacklin became the first British player to win The Open Championship for 18 years, winning by two strokes at Royal Lytham & St Annes. His U.S. Open Championship was the only victory at the event, by a European player in an 84-year span (1926–2009). Here is a tastefully matted signed photo of the Champion Golfer of the Year and his prize. 16" x 12."
