1956 US Open at Oak Hill Country Club Thursday Ticket #1966 with Original String - 6/14/1956
U.S. Open Tickets of this vintage are scarce and in serious demand these days. Here is a Thursday tournament round ticket in fantastic shape and with the original string from the 1956 U.S. Open at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., won by Cary Middlecoff. The 1956 win was Middlecoff's second US Open win, having won in 1949. In addition to Middlecoff's two US Open victories he was also the Masters Champion in 1955 and following his career he was elected to The World Golf hall of Fame.
