Seven (7) Different Plastic PGA Championship Bag Tags - 1976, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1985, 1986, & 1987
The 1976 PGA Championship was the 58th PGA Championship played August 12–16 at Congressional Country Club (Blue Course) in Bethesda, Maryland. Dave Stockton won the championship.
The 1978 PGA Championship was the 60th PGA Championship played August 3-6 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. John Mahaffey won the championship in a sudden-death playoff.
Graham had to earn his first Major championship, defeating Ben Crenshaw on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff, after his double-bogey on the 72nd hole forced the playoff. Graham would later win the 1981 U.S. Open, bringing his total Majors to two.
Alabama's Larry Nelson captured his first of three major championships and a $60,000 prize, a comfortable four stroke win over Masters and US Open winner Fuzzy Zoeller.
Former U.S. Open Champion Hubert Green returned from virtual oblivion to out-duel defending Champion Lee Trevino at Cherry Hills Country Club in Englewood, Colorado. With rounds of 66 and 68, Trevino led at the midway point, but with closing rounds of 70 and 72, Green overtook Trevino for a two-stroke victory.
Bob Tway won the 1986 PGA Championship in dramatic fashion with a chip in on the 18th hole, knocking off the the 54 hole leader Greg Norman.
The 1987 PGA Championship was the 69th PGA Championship and held at the Champion Course of PGA National Golf Club in Florida. This was only the 2nd major hosted in Florida heat. Hot and windy were ever present, and Larry Nelson won his second PGA Championship in a sudden-death playoff over 1977 champion Lanny Wadkins. It was Nelson's third and final major title

Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 10:00pm ET Sunday, November 21st. When placing INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items with multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm ET
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm ET
**Once extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
