Major Winners Runyan, Fleck, Hebert, Elkington, Zoeller, Hamilton, & Green Signed Index Cards
Among the world's best players in the mid-1930s, he won two PGA Championships, and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Runyan was also a golf instructor. Runyan was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1990. In addition, he is a member of the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame and the Arkansas Hall of Fame. He received the Harvey Penick Lifetime Teaching Award and the PGA of America Distinguished Service Award. Runyan passed away in 2002.
Jack Donald Fleck (born November 7, 1921) is an American professional golfer, best known for winning the U.S. Open in 1955 in a playoff over Ben Hogan. At age 92, Fleck is the oldest living U.S. Open champion.
Lionel Hebert(January 20, 1928 – December 30, 2000)won five times on the PGA Tour. One major victory includes the 1957 PGA Championship. He played on the 1957 Ryder Cup team.
It was in dramatic fashion when Elkington claimed his one and only Major victory. It took a 20' birdie putt on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff with Colin Montgomerie in order to claim the PGA Championship at Riviera in 1995
Zoeller is a two-time Major winner and one of only three golfers to have won the Masters in their first try at Augusta National. Floyd dominated the 1976 Masters, winning by eight strokes over Ben Crenshaw. Floyd is a four-time Major winner and was an Open Championship victory away from the coveted career grand slam.
Todd Hamilton defeated Ernie Els in a four-hole playoff to win the British Open at the Royal Troon Golf Club. Two victories in his first season on the PGA Tour led to Hamilton's being named the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year for 2004.
Green went out on top at the 1985 PGA Championship at Cherry Hills, his second Major victory and final PGA Tour win. He edged out a faltering Lee Trevino to claim the title at Cherry Hills.
