The 1952 PGA Championship was held at Blue Spring Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky. The match play tournament was conducted the week of June 18-25. In the finals, Jim Turnesa beat Chick Harbert on the final green for a 1-up victory. It was the eighth and final contest in PGA Championship history to end on the final green. The Golf Auction presents an approx. 2 by 3 foot banner which was flown during the Championship week at the Blue Spring Country Club. This banner shows signs of wear in the elements which included 100-degree heat for the semifinals which were viewed by 6,000 patrons.
