This is not an Alverson Sales Co. model, but the original style shown here. This handmade long nose blade putter has a scored groove face and has some original chrome plating on it. The Stamp on the head includes the model "33" and the makers mark "W.E. Harness - Bloomington, IL". The walnut paddle (flat-top) grip is also handmade and is approximately 18" long. It is bored and fitted over the solid steel shaft. This is a very early design for the flat-top and perhaps the first to be commercially produced. There appears to be original whipping over the shaft end of the grip. The butt end of the grip has a faint impression of what once said 'Patented 1928'

In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
