1937 PGA Senior Championship at Augusta National Champions Gold Medal Won by Jock Hutchison
In 1937 at the Augusta National Golf Club Jock Hutchison won the inaugural PGA Seniors' Championship. Presented is the gorgeous symbol of Hutchison's achievement, with medals not being awarded to Masters champions in that time period. This medal marks the first professional golf medal ever awarded on the grounds of the Augusta National. Medal with raised detail of clubs, golf ball and scroll that lists, "The Professional Golfers Association of America Seniors' Championship", "Jack Hutchison", "1937". Verso contains intricate script as follows "Believing that the growth of the game of golf and its high standards in this country is largely due to the efforts of its early professional exponents and because of their ideals of sportsmanship and ethical practices the Professional Golfers Association of America is dedicated to the perpetuation of these ideas". Beginning in 1963 through 1972, the Hall of Famer Hutchison joined Fred Mcleod as honorary starters for the Masters. Its composition is gold bonded sterling silver. 1 1/4" width, 1 1/2" tall. 1 11/16" including loop. Approx. 1.6 ounces.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15-minute time period (at 10pm ET, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
