Babe Zaharias, Jean Hopkins, & Lawson Little Signed 1947 Caddie Card
Caddie Ed Breznyak was the lucky young man that was chosen to carry the bag for 4-time major champion Lawson Little on August 15, 1947. Little then filled out the card to give feedback to the club on young Ed's performance, completing it with the 'Attentive - Good Caddy" box checked and his pencil signature. Either during the round or shortly after Babe Zaharias and Jean Hopkins were approached by Ed for their signatures and they both obliged, signing the light colored reverse of the caddie's card. The late Zaharias excelled in golf, basketball, baseball and won two gold medals in the 1932 Olympics in track and field competitions. She passed away at the young age of 45 in 1956, making her signature not an easy one to obtain. During her golfing career Babe Zaharias was victorious an astounding 41 times on the LPGA tour, with 10 of those being major victories. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
