Arnold Palmer Signed Original Personal Painted Art Plate

Here lies a true one of a kind piece from the mind of Arnold Palmer. it was acquired via the "Plates for Parkinsons" fundraiser circa 2008-2009 that many celebrities participated in, painting and signing on white plates including Mr. Palmer. It should be no surprise, as Arnold Palmer's charitable mindset drove him during his career and even more after ultimately opening up Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. Our consignor was lucky enough to win his contribution to the cause, a true 1/1 Arnold Palmer original. The 4-time Masters Tournament winner was a pilot, plane owner and a huge aviation buff. As you can see he drew drew a plane on the top left of the white plate, with a golfing scene below it on ground level. Bright green made up the fairway, with his golfer hitting an approach shot onto the green and seemingly into the hole. Signing his work, as most artists do, Palmer penned his name flawlessly. 10 1/4" diameter. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
