1930 US Amateur Public Links Championship Contestant Badge #102
USGA's wildly successful US Amateur Public Links Championship tournament grew to over 6,000 in 1998. This contestant badge was used in the 9th edition of that tournament, the same year Bobby Jones won his grand slam. Very similar in design to Jones' US Open and US Amateur victory contestant badges is this example, also crafted with USGA's classic design. Condition is very good, reminiscent of when it was used by golfer #102 90 years ago. 2014 marked the last year the USGA tournament was played. Finding the player number still intact is far more uncommon than not.
This is the largest auction we have had to date. Please use the search button and categories tab as an option to navigate your way through the numerous lots.
