Vintage Cut Signature from Archie Compston
In the '25 Open, Barnes was the Champion Golfer of the Year by one stroke over Archie Compston. Also of note, this was the last of the 24 Opens played at Prestwick, which also hosted the first twelve. Compston and Percy Allis signed this album page along with boxers and other local celebrities in Great Britain. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
