Bobby Jones Tying Putt at Winged Foot in the 1929 US Open by Robert Fawcett - Esquire 1945
The 1929 United States Open, contested at Winged Foot Golf Club, saw Bobby Jones open with a first round 69, his 31 on the back nine outstanding in all regards. At the end of four rounds of play Jones remained tied with Al Espinosa. The 36-hole playoff the next day saw Jones post a staggering 23 stroke exclamation point win in claiming his third US Open Championship. Here is a Robert Faxcett commmissioned piece of Jones' Tying putt at Winged Foot for the esteemed Esquire publication. It boast great color and depiction of the scene, tastefully framed. 18 1/2" x 14"

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
