1962 Masters Tournament Spectator Guide - Arnold Palmer Winner
In 1962, Arnie was an American folk figure, the "King" who had an "Army" of followers was victorious yet again at the hallowed Augusta National Golf Club grounds. The popular spectator guides acted as programs, educating the patrons about the tournament and club if they needed it, along with where they could buy a Pimento-cheese sandwich. It is in good condition and represented the third of Arnold Palmer's four wins.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, September 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST

One of the great innovations to come out of the Masters Tournament is the Spectator Guide which the Augusta National began providing their patrons in the late 1940's. Contained in the Spec. Guide you will find the thoughts of Bobby Jones on the event which was his brainchild, along with a detailed history of the Masters happenings and results. The spectator guide run is a staple of Masters collecting similar to tickets/badges, and often takes years to compile. This guide is in good to very good condition, as seen when inspecting the pictures in this lot.
